The month of May has been an extremely busy month . There were three premieres and one performance of various pieces.

To start the month off was the Faculty Recital of Jean Lansing, Associate Professor of Saxophone at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas who played Sonata for Alto Sax and Piano. There was also the premiere of A.D. 2004 by the Washburn Symphony Orchestra which was conducted by Assistant Conductor, Alex Wise.

Also this month there was the double premiere of F.M. Prayers at Thorndale and Thrall High Schools. Both of these premieres went fantastic. Directors Scott Simmons and Beth Morrison and the band students of both high schools created two monumental first performances of this piece. Special thanks goes out to the band students and directors who made this project happen, it meant so much to me that you guys put your all into it. For those of you who are from Thorndale and Thrall, as we are hoping for a bright future for this piece, feel free to add your email to our list so we can keep you up to date on the progress of this project.
